Expression of Interest | Sawtooth ARI Board

Are you an artist? Do you have skills across arts, artist-run initiatives, business, finance, or governance? We’d love to hear from prospective Board members who want to support Sawtooth into the future.

With significant organisational developments currently underway, this is a particularly exciting time to get involved and help support Sawtooth through an exciting period of growth and change.

Joining the Board is a uniquely rewarding opportunity to meaningfully contribute to the local arts community in Northern Lutruwita/Tasmania, while developing skills in governance, strategic planning, leadership, and advocacy within a contemporary arts context. We encourage expressions of interest from people of all experience levels, including those looking to build confidence and develop new skills through Board participation.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the positions of Vice-Chair and Secretary, alongside ordinary Board Member positions.

The Board meets monthly on Thursdays from 5:30pm, with meetings typically running for approximately one hour. Board positions are voluntary. Board members may also choose to participate in subcommittees, which meet separately throughout the year.
