Amy Jane Collins
Amy is a practicing artist, curator, and writer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts) from Queensland University of Technology and Honours from The University of Tasmania. She has been a heavily involved with artist-run initiatives throughout her creative career having founded Undone ARI in Meanjin/Brisbane in 2022.
Since moving to the island from South East Queensland in early 2025, she has been involved with various exhibitions and curatorial projects across the state including: Good Grief Studios, the Sunroom Gallery, and Dark Mofo.
Working primarily in sculpture and installation, Amy works across ceramics, tech, and sound, open to work with any and all materials. Her playful spirit and intuitive pull to experimentation lies at the heart of all her artistic pursuits, with her curatorial and writing projects focusing on artists that dare to do things differently or question the status-quo.
