Bernadette Neeling- Public Programs Officer

Bernadette Neeling is a teacher and arts worker, inspired by the relational possibilities of Public Programs and participatory art.

As a neurodivergent person with a range of experiences in inclusive education, Bernadette is passionate about creating space for more folks to realise their own art practice and engage with everything that art can be (everything).

Bernadette has worked in various roles in the arts nationally, recently as Devonport Regional Gallery’s Creative Learning and Public Programs Officer.  There she was passionate about engaging visitors with art authentically, as well as supporting and producing programs and works that offer fresh ways of connecting around Art and ideas. Leading the tidal.24 festival included coordinating an Artist Residency, commissioning socially engaged works, and producing a work that set sail from the river to the sea.

In the more physical realm, Bernadette enjoys melting things, impossible tasks, looking for platypus, and over/under-thinking.
