Planning your visit to Sawtooth:

● Sawtooth is open 11 am - 4 pm Thursday - Sunday, unless we are in an installation period

Getting here:

● accessible parking – 1 space in the driveway

● accessible public transport - Nearest bus stop: Stop 3, No. 51 Invermay Rd: This is the closest stop, located approximately 332 meters away from Sawtooth ARI.

● accessible drop-off/pick-up points – Sawtooth driveway or on Lindsay Street

● exact location of the accessible entrance – the front door to Sawtooth ARI is an accessible entrance

The Sawtooth building:

● staff are always happy to help with assistance, you will be greeted by one of our team upon arriving

● assistant animals are welcomed [insert dog logo here]

● wide doorways inside the building - wheelchair and accessibility scooters usually fit (please enquire)

● entrance ramps, and no stairs

● toilet with handrails (Handrails to be installed in December 2025)

● NO accessibility toilets available

● The nearest accessible toilet is [insert details here]

● noise-cancelling headphones are available for use as some exhibitions/installations can be ‘noisy’ (please enquire)

● Quiet time visits are available on request

● Sawtooth does not currently have a Hearing Loop, however, we aim to install one in December 2025

● Sawtooth does not currently have visual descriptions of the exhibitions, we hope to change this in future

● Our events are not currently AUSLAN interpreted as we do not have the funding, however, we hope to address this in future

● dim lighting and some strobe/flickering lights can be part of some exhibitions/installations (please enquire)

● limited seating in driveway

● stone benches and seating available inside building
