Suzanne (Suzy) Turner

Suzanne is an educator and multi instrumentalist who has been part of the Launceston arts community for more than 30 years. She is a classical violin player who also plays clarinet and Greenwood leather instruments. Suzanne has rehearsed and performed with many community orchestras and small ensembles, and engages in projects and collaborations with other artists for festival and private events. 

She is one of the founding members of the Launceston Improvised Music Association, who present performances and a weekly collaborative music making event at Sawtooth ARI Gallery. Suzanne is proud to work with the Sawtooth ARI Board to continue to create opportunities for, and support and inspire artists in our Launceston community and beyond.
