Denise Cox is an emerging artist based in the serene landscapes of Northern Tasmania. who works mainly in acrylic and mixed media.

A principle theme in Denise’s current work is the inspiring and dramatic land and seascapes of lutruwita/ Tasmania. Her work has been described as dramatic and powerful, harnessing energy and beauty and conveying this to the viewer, inviting them to experience the depth of her subjects.

Denise incorporates, textures in acrylics and mixed media, applied with brushes, sponges, palette knives and arrange of household and discarded objects. As she continues to explore new materials and techniques, Denise’s art not only reflects her personal journey but also resonates with those who seek connection and meaning through creativity.
